Their duty is to agree how we can work together to protect and promote the welfare of children in North Somerset through this multiagency approach. The NSSCP is a gateway to partners, resources, information, and advice. |
If it is urgent but you’re not sure about contacting the police, please contact: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm (out of hours contact will be redirected to the out of hours team). Anyone can call First Response if they are concerned about a child or young person or if they think they need support. If you are outside of the 8.45am - 5pm, call the emergency duty team. Young Carers |

Young carers are people under 18 who care for someone, often taking on practical and emotional caring responsibilities that would be expected of an adult. This responsibility affects their lives and they may struggle to see friends and cope with the pressures of school work. Alliance Homes helps to support young carers. |

North Somerset: What to do if you’re worried about being homeless If you are homeless, or worried about becoming homeless, you should make contact as soon as you can. The earlier you make contact, the more they can do to help. If you need their help, contact their homeless prevention team or complete the contact form on the Housing Jigsaw website, and they will get in touch with you. If you become homeless after 6pm on a weekday or anytime over a weekend or bank holiday, you can call their emergency duty team on 01454 615 165. |
