Maple class photos 2020
The Great Fire of Flax!
We discovered a diary entry written by Samuel Pepys in 1666. We also found a map that led us to the cheese and 'wine' that Samuel Pepys had buried! We had a taste of the 'wine' (non-alcoholic Shloer!) and set fire to some Tudor houses while we sang London's Burning. Enjoy looking through the photos below. :-)
This has been a tough year for everybody, and children have really missed seeing their friends and having parties for their birthdays, especially if their birthday has been during lockdown. So, we decided to have a birthday party- for EVERYONE! Thanks Maple parents for being amazing, and organising the BEST party including pass the parcel, a thoughtful covid-safe feast and an awesome game of pin-the-tail-on-the-alien!

Great Fire of London learning
Here are some photos of our display and some of the children's learning about the Great Fire of London. They have thoroughly enjoyed learning about it, and have shown some brilliant historical enquiry skills!
Hello Maple children and families,
This is the page where we will post pictures of all of the lovely learning that goes on in Maple class.
